Excellent I've been wondering about stair training for rugby backs or even running backs. Its offseason now my nephew is turning 13 and we just started stairs sprints but we start with jumping up like this video 👍

Coach great content. For teenagers who are just starting this training how many sets of each drill on each side should they be be doing? And should they start to add sets as they start to strengthen? Thanks

I’m always studying speed and acceleration but as a result I’ve neglected agility. These drills seem like a great way for someone who’s already decently fast ( like myself) to start training for agility. I’d imagine they’d also work as great Plyo drills for all aspects of speed. Which would make designing a training program for speed and agility fit together really nicely. Thanks for the insight. I’ll definitely give these a try.

Loving the content you put out. One question for this vid, what would you implement as a stimulus for true agility? With agility being defined as change of direction in response to a stimuli? How would that change the exercises you have posted here?
@GarageStrength3 жыл бұрын
you could try this out. Have an athlete sprint 10 meters, when this athlete makes their second step have someone bounce a ball in an unknown area. this will have them react well while moving rapidly
