The Human Fly could have been written well and not try to be similar to The Scorpion, and appeared in Spider-Man TAS with a better backstory then maybe he wouldn't be forgotten.

I think the Main Issue with the Human Fly is that his Origins is the same as pretty much Every Single Spider-Man Villain, the Reason Batman Villains and Flash Villains work for me is that They don’t have the same Origins all the time also Spidey Villains have been defeated by Regular People who have No Powers, overall Spider-Man is one of my least favorite rogues galleries, at least Batman and Flash are harder to beat

I actually sort of like having a select number of super Scientists that multiple villains can trace their power/gear to.
