In days of yore, they played a Halloween show in San Francisco for years. Always one of the best shows of the year. Amazing. A big bonus was discovering Flat Duo Jets when they opened up for them in maybe ‘91 at the Warfield I think. The only band that could open for the cramps and not look like crap. And frankly the Cramps are one of the few bands that could follow Flat Duo Jets and not look like crap. One of the best shows I ever saw hands down.

I saw the Flat Duo Jets in someone's back yard in Wilmington, NC back in the early 90s. Been a Cramps fan since I first saw this video in the barracks at Cherry Point about 2 am. 1980,room full of jarheads tripping balls. What madness.
@MarieProvost772 жыл бұрын
Sometimes they did San Diego for Halloween, too, if I recall correctly. But the best shows ever were the ones with this line-up, way back when, which I got to go nuts to, several times, in the D.C. area. Met & hung out with the band several times & they were very normal & nice off-stage; a pleasure to spend time with. They never let their popularity (which way bitd meant maybe 100 people showing up for a tour stop) blow their skirts up. I'm still mourning the loss of all but Ivy...

The lead singer is a Reptoid, showing slit eyes, claws, hologram malfunctioning continually, and blatantly. You will notice this more often, now that you know what you're looking for.
