Not really, actually. Just don't be out of shape completely and you'll live. I've worked many jobs with constant moving/lifting. Your body gets used to it after a while. Sure, the fiirst few months you'll be sore everywhere, but you get used to it!

Because municipalities have limits on how much each residence can set out. Additional garbage normally requires tags. If untagged extra is collected both the company and employee can be fined.

Where up in the 905 are they still doing manual (garbage can/bag) garbage collection? I have to admit that I/we have gotten really used to the wheeled grey and blue bins down here in "the 6ix". HOWEVER, I still LOVE the manual/traditional yard waste collection using old garbage cans with the rear loaders. -- John down in D2

This is not the 905. But lots of places still have manual or in some capacity manual collection. Halton hills region, Markham, Richmond Hill, Vaughan, I believe parts of KW, Kingston, London, Windsor, and many more. I believe Peterborough has automated garbage and manual dual stream sorted recycling.

Satisfying and disappointing at the same time. The kid is efficient, quick and clean with his method, which these people really have to be (they have a LOT of houses to hit in a very strict timeframe). But this shows that we throw out way too many perfectly good items that could've been donated or restored. This is our own fault..
