My short handled regular spade is all mine. My husband just put a shorter handle on a reclaimed spade-no need to spend $80+. It is the safest shovel for when people don’t know enough to stand back when I’m working 🙄. Yes, it happened with a rake handle once.

I was in Thailand in January and instead of lettuce wraps, this vegan restaurant we ate at had lotus blossom wraps. I don't know about the leaves, but the blossoms are edible.

Lotus leaves are not edible, but can be used to wrap food.
