I live in Minnesota and we too had the same weather you had. A very wet spring followed by a dry summer. Also had many more chipmunks but much fewer butterflys. Thank you for your videos. You have the best of both worlds, beautiful gardens and a prairie! Looking forward to more of your videos in the year ahead.

I'd be really interested to know more about how to find someone to help safely do a prairie burn and other info such as do you need a permit? Does it have to a rural area (I imagine probably yes).

You can call your local fire department sometimes they’ll use it as a controlled burn practice or a prairie management company also do burns.
