I initially thought this too because she used specific feminine and masculine terms to it. However, i think she's saying he planted a "seed" of love in her and she started to grow (develop) feelings for him and just as she is falling in love and he's probably taken what he wanted (sex, etc. "lay me on a bed of dead roses though" could be interpreted as, sex without love and intention. it's just empty lust he has for her while she's giving everything to him), he leaves her heartbroken without an explanation because he's not putting in the effort to build this relationship and grow the flowers. He's impatient and picked at her fruit before it was ripe, before she was ready to give it to him, he was just hungry for what she had. He probably can't handle making it through arguments or disagreements, or maybe he made her fall in love knowing he wasn't ready to take her seriously yet. He left her to dry and she's wondering, "Hey where'd the water go that he was giving me? "He was so nurturing, he was like a gardener to my garden. Why did he nurture me like this just to take his sunshine and water away?". ngl these fcking comments are really confusing the hell out of me. I know she doesn’t like us listening to unreleased songs, but there’s comments saying it’s good to listen and not just forget the effort that went into making these songs… I don’t know honestly. I don’t want to just ignore her effort and I want to support her, but, she doesn’t like it- atleast when we listen to unreleased songs NOT with the intention to support, but just to listen. Portals is done, and I’ve heard she’s working on another project, so is she ok with us listening? But songs like dragons blood and garden were scrapped already, and were final versions, so there’s no other way she could release it because it’s all leaked.
