You did an excellent job. I especially appreciate the fact that you took the time to pull weeds and grass out of the flower beds instead of using the trimmer. Not too many gardeners do that.

Very nice result. What would also be nice would be to name the plants ie: the little yellow ones or any greenery or flowers that you know the names of. Edit: please, no gravel. Practically impossible to weed around and they don’t need to be spraying dangerous chemicals.

I remember watching this makeover ages ago. It's very nice but I hope the family member put some low maintenance plants and mulch in the bare dirt areas otherwise weeds will just grow up in them again. As the old saying goes, "Nature loves a vacuum".
