Garden of Graffiti celebrates the unique elements of the graffiti and street art scene in Java, Indonesia.
Besides exclusive interviews with some of the key figures in Javanese graffiti, it also shares visions of new, rising artists.
The short documentary is a product of a 3 week long journey around the island and takes you for a ride along cities like Jakarta, Cirebon, Pekalongan, Dieng, Yogyakarta, Solo, Salatiga and Bandung. The 14 minute long documentary reflects the issues that local artists are facing and the creative solutions that arise from these situations.
It’s an homage to the free, creative soul that’s inside all of us.
