Looks GREAT. A few Puns thrown in makes for another great vlog and a good tip about the cheese cloth , I really enjoy watching you two LOL. I used to have friends like you that I always enjoyed being with but they have all passed away and I am left to my own devices. when you reach 78 your friends become just a great memory. God bless you guys....

Dear Dale and Karyn, practice make perfect! Looking great, love the hint from Karyn's sister. Think that cheesecloth is a great alternative as a small mesh reinforcement. funny, by the way, that reinforcement end on...

So far the cheesecloth seems like a good idea. More ideas to test as soon as it warms up.

That's beautiful!and I am glad you said waterproofing in the monologue. Those cracks would have functioned the same way as real crack in a mountain would have done. Water would have filled the crack then it would have frozen and expanded splitting the rock. In your case the mountain facade.

Old drop ceiling tiles could be used to make landscaping filler that can be used under the concrete as long as it is the type without asbestos.

I think you should carve an old 40s Ford into the cliffs like in the movie "Cars" or is it too late. Kinda seems like you've been sitn on these videos for some time now. Looks so cool, you sure know what you're doing with carving & colors. 👍🏻

That looks Great! Bit of trivia for you, on the 1965 GT350 fastback, what does the 350 stand for. Hint, it is not horsepower, torque, displacement or any of that. It is the number of steps from Carol Shelby's desk to the shop door. Look it up on Jay Leno's Garage with two of the original builders of that car. You'll love it.

While pink foam is great for indoors, maybe you should go with the old screen over a sealed wood frame method where the mortar will be like the plaster. Should stick great to a screen mesh much like they do with stucco on buildings.
@ToyManTelevision

That works well. But hard to control. Hard to work with the wire.. but we shall see. Next week color. And a big failure v

I would keep the look of the cracks, but maybe "fill" them with some sort of outdoor varnish to stop water getting in there. With the temperature variations you guys get frost will likely be the enemy if water gets in there.

That looks really good, having been through that area a couple of times and it looks convincing to my eye. The rubble at the bottom adds to the realistic look of the rock face. It's what you see in nature and in a quarry after blasting. By the way what foam cutter are you usin? Helpful hint, fine aircraft safety wire works good on a hot wire foam cutter.

Did you think about using push pins or paper clips to help attach the mortar to the foam (in addition to the urethane gorilla glue? In planned cracks are a good thing. You can use a urethane adhesive or even a silicon. You are so creative.

Home Depot. $45 a sheet. Scored so you can break it into 2’ wide or 18” wide lengths. Or leave it 4x8. But we break it into 8’ by 2’ to transport.
