Garden Route Dam

We were spending some time in the garden route South Africa and discovered a beautiful place to walk your dog. The George Dam / Garden Route Dam is located at the foot of the Outeniqua mountains and just on the outskirts of George. The loop we walked was 6.5km and leads you along the dam edge and through some pine forests. the trail is easy and it is a lovely place to spend some time outdoors. This dog walk was excellent and we will be back again next time we pass through.
