Join us as we visit Trent’s edible backyard in Highvale, Queensland. He is has turned his backyard into a family vegetable garden growing an abundance of food. Strawberries, tomatoes, leafy greens, onions, rosella, plus lots of fruit trees. He does it all on limited water tank water, horse manure and mulch.
This is an inspirational backyard vegetable garden with hardly any inputs and it is only a few years old.
If you have always dreamt of your own small scale vegetable farm, or you are wanting more ideas on growing food in your own backyard why not follow us on the Samford Edible Garden Trail. This is a community initiative where we visit edible gardens in South East Queensland (Australia), share ideas, with the hope to inspire more of us to grow more home-grown food.
