The critters get enough stuff, lol. I'd harvest the squash 🙂Will you be making anything with the Paw Paw's or just eating fresh? Nice walk about 👍 I hope your eye gets better soon. - Krista -

Hey, Krista! I usually wait until the squash starts dying to harvest for the best flavor. If I see them attacking another, I'll start harvesting because some are just now turning color. We eat the pawpaw fresh. I'm not much of a baker or a dessert person except for special occasions. My eye seems a bit better today, thanks. I hope all is well with you. Have a wonderful weekend.

I’m playing catch up at 11pm. Great harvest. I’m glad that you’re getting eggplant 😊. It’s looking good. The butter nut squash is huge. The critters are never ending.

What variety of eggplant are you growing? Yours is producing in clusters. It looks beautiful! Mine is supposed to be Ichiban. I worked my tush off yesterday, so I didn't get to watch many videos. Zzzzz

If I put netting on, I'd get more. I think I can get some tulle that won't be so easy for them to get tangled in like regular bird netting. Maybe next year. Happy Sunday! ❤️

Hahaha my Greenstalk is a sad story too. Very neglected but I’ll spruce it up for the fall! And yesss jalapeños with bacon/cream cheese is the best!

Have you planted your GreenStalk in the winter yet?

@@easystreetwithjen I tried to last year but I had too many aphids so I gave up on them. They destroyed everything before they had a chance to get growing!

@cookseyfarms The aphids come out in March around here, and I'm trying full sun this year for earlier harvests. Good luck with your endeavors. 🤞

Hi 👋🏻 Jen. Don't think 🤔 I ever had paw paw fruit when I lived in Georgia 🍑. Peaches a whole lot of 'em. No more jalapenos for me. Eggplant 🍆 definitely 😁 nice when cooked well.
@easystreetwithjen2 ай бұрын
You'd have to know someone who grew them or find some in the wild. They go bad very quickly, so they're not fit for transport. The jalapeños were very mild when cooked, but I know your stomach took lots of abuse. The eggplant is amazing, especially when fresh. I hope you, your family, and our doggie friends are all well. ❤️

@@easystreetwithjen All good in general here. Living the good, cool, quiet and green mountain countryside life here. I DO NOT MISS THE TRAVELER LIFE AT ALL. Vacation trips are good. Wouldn't change anything I've done.
