Hello brother! So good to see you. I’ve not been well enough to plant anything yet. I still may try it. Awesome video as always

Glad I'm not the only one who is having a hard time. First year getting my pawpaws garden going again after his passing and boy do I wish I had listened and learned more. Tomatoes wilted after a week, half my squash is wilting but the zucchini is going wild. Gardening in pots with good soil is so easy but getting that garden soil right is so tough

Speaking of dried beans - we're in East TN and we grow pintos, great northern, light, dark, and white kidney beans. For green beans we grow Fortex on cattle panels and white half runners (in the corn). This year I added a row of yellow wax beans to try, too. We've got lots of other stuff, too, but, like you, the weather has us about a month behind.

We used to grow the Mountaineer half runners, but the past few years they don't seem to produce as much as they used to. They were good beans though, I've strung and broke my share of those!

@@1972BRJ have you tried Fortex? They are heirloom and we save the seed every year. They are about 12-15" long and stringless. And delicious! We've also grown Turkey Craw which a friend really likes. I like them ok, but prefer either fortex or white half runners. I enjoy watching others' gardens.

My tomatoes had a night of 37 degrees while hardening off and a 33 degree night a week after planting on April 15th here in zone 7a. Not a single plant were affected and are currently 6.5 ft tall and loaded with tomatoes.

This has been the craziest weather. I'm like you - what season is it? I'm in NC near SC border. So overcast much of the time that nothing is able to ripen. Days of rain then really cool then upper 80's. Hope you'll show your pintos through till harvest. I love them, but have never grown them. What variety did you plant? Thanks.

That "wire grass" as we called it is bad. Hope you never get nut grass, it is worse.
