They don’t even have a studio for this anymore so realistically nothing will ever happen, considering there’s probably only a hand full of people that even provide the small occasional bug fixed at popcap for shooters anyway

They do have developers they can take from other studios to do a side project. Most of EA studios uses frostbite so it shouldn't be crazy hard to make changes, but it's still a very slim chance that they're changing anything so Im not getting my hopes up too much...

Hey Tristou here, I never expected to get a video around my movement, even tho it didn't succeed immediately, we did get the attention of Vanhoozer the Creative Director and even tho it didn't bring anything at the moment our biggest point was server maintenance and adding an anti cheat Wich both ended up happening, I can't say it made everyone happy definitely alot of negativity but it allowed me to meet some of the biggest faces of this franchise and make meaningful connections that still last to this day and for that I can't thank those that participated enough

the thing is, they have two choices, invest on the series on let it be how it is, since there is no longer a team, updates from gw2 are really unlikely but a new team for a new game, that has more chance than another update on gw2. If anything, if they are going to do something on gw2, are balance changes, because a lot, and I mean A LOT of people will be talking and experiencing this changes, so this might be like a test, for the development of a new game (that is not a failure like bfn) and they learn with their mistakes, who knows? My hopes (that prop will not happen) is for the sequel to be selled for another development team, but that will not happen

Even tho now the steam player count is 3000ish is still a good result having this even after the natural lowering player count one weak after sale. (If this is a confusing text that looks like it was made by a barely sentient human being, language barrier )
