I love plants and one day in class my science teacher was speaking about how plants take in oxygen at night and how she doesn't advise keeping plants in your bedroom.She said: "while you're sleeping the plants take all the oxygen in your bedroom and slowly try to kill you by robbing you of oxygen". eilidh macleod that’s only during the day when they have sunlight to preform photosynthesis. her teacher is correct in the sense that in the night, there’s no sun so plants preform cellular respiration, taking in oxygen and producing co2. however they do not take all and try to kill you lol. this is how plants can survive for years in an airtight closed container (vivarium)

Garden tip for potting, make sure you’re putting moist soil into the pot or else when it’s roots reach the bottom it reaches try soil and begins to die, filling it to the top is OK, most house plants are ok with being in moderate light and temp with 2-3 feedings a week
