Love this combo! This gives me inspo for the spring. I can’t wait! I’m already trying to plan out what Supertunia’s I want to do. I did the Vista Snowdrifts last year and I’m looking into doing some kind of pink and white combo. I’m thinking of Bubblegums, silverberrys, and either Vista Fuscia or Vista Paradise. I keep going back n forth, they are all so pretty! And they do so well in the garden as long as they get plenty of water. I would also love to plant some of the potato vines. They get so big and I love the lime green color. I bet this garden looked so good after it filled in!🌸🌼

Terrific job! It's going to look fantastic once they start to grow in. Now I know why Laura at Garden Answer uses bagged compost. It's a heck of a lot easier to spread than what you just had to do with the shovel and wheel barrow! Ha ha ha. I was tired just watching you but it's going to be totally worth it. I like the rocks at the edge of the bed too. Are you going also going to plant the diamond frost euphorbia in the front or are you undecided? It's going to look great. Don't forget your weekly fertilizing! Thanks again. Look forward to updates.
@GardenAddictz5 жыл бұрын
Jake Jones Jake Jones good morning, thanks for always watching and your positive feed back. I already planted the diamond frost AFTER deciding on it. I’ll give a Garden update soon. And I was using bag mulch/compost but it started to get costly. I’m going to buy one of those large forks to move mulch and see how that works.

@@GardenAddictz Note: your hubby was nice enough to get the rocks but not shovel any dirt? Ha ha ha ha. Jokin'. Maybe once he sees how nice it turns out it'll inspire him to pitch in but you did great.

Have you noticed a difference between PW supertunias and regular petunias? I haven’t tried PW yet. 🌺🌺
@GardenAddictz5 жыл бұрын
Yes i have, i use to use other petunias and i would have to deadhead like crazy in order to keep them blooms coming. With PW i dont deadhead and they are aggressive
@adamfromgardenofeden5 жыл бұрын
Nice! Thanks and definitely will try them out 🌺🌺
@foodland6653 Жыл бұрын
Beautiful garden, I’m in zone 6b and thinking to plant supertunias this year, your vid helped! Qu: where do you get these plants from? Lowe’s, Home Depot types stores or PW online? Also, how much per plant costs? Btw, New sub friend here! ❤
@pepperderr13885 жыл бұрын
I noticed you dug up a tulip bulb. I was just asking about this in one of my groups. I read that you shouldn't put anything in the same area as tulip bulbs because if you have to water the other flowers, like your supertunias, the excess water will make the bulbs rot. What is your experience with that? Thanks! They look lovely!
@GardenAddictz5 жыл бұрын
I've never had that experience with them rotting Even though they aren't in bloom they are still growing and saving energy for next season. So what about rain fall? when the rain falls it saturates the soil and the tulip bulbs. So you watering wont affect them. Also, a lot of cottage gardens have plants planted really close with bulbs in between and these tulips come back every year. If a tulip doesn't come back more than likely it was not a naturalizing tulip bulb. In most zone you have to replant every year.

I bought the flat at walmart, the original price for one at any store is $4.95, but Walmart had them for $3. and couple cents. Still not a good deal but i saved $1 each off each plant. So about $30, give or take a few cents.
