I’m so excited to see preteen and teenage gardeners here. I know my millennial generation loves gardening but we didn’t get into it until our 20s mostly. It’s wonderful to see so many Gen Z kids into gardening so young! People always complain about younger generations but Gen Z is amazing and I could not be more proud!

toni linquist they are. My children’s father (we still live and coparent together) doesn’t know I plan on keeping the Tuxedo kitten, and that’s the one that tries to get out the most and yells the loudest. He goes “Whoever gets that kitten is going to have a miserable life trying to keep it under control”. I started laughing so hard because little does he know, that poor cat guardian is us.

Paint the gazebo - picking up the gray tones in your gravel. Gray blends into the greenery so well. A soft, rich gray. Thank you for the pleasure of seeing you gardens in the winter. Mine have felt a bit sad these last couple of weeks, even though they are loaded with cheerful narcissus blooms, but that is only an indication that spring is just around the corner. Yours don't look sad, so you have helped me see mine through new eyes. Thank You!

wow!!! when i think back on your "just moved in" videos to now... remember the roses that attacked you as you walked to the kitchen door? gone! the scary root cellar?? the dream of chickens?? done!!! you have done so much, and it all looks so great, even in the still of winter... do you hear those tulips coming up? i imagine there's a low hum of life vibrating through your entire gardens!! i cannot wait to see those tulips and watch your "this year" plans come to fruition... getting the hardscape and basics in first is so important, so i appreciate why you take your time making sure it's as close to what you want as you can get... spring is coming!!!

Got to love a good garden tour! Aaron and yourself have done so much work over the past several years, have you ever considered doing a video series about just that? You could zoom in on a particular garden and show what's happened to it since moving into your home - construction / transformation / growth. Or how about choosing an annual garden and going through the various combos you've tried out over the years. Or, how about selecting a garden and showing how it looks throughout the seasons. It might be enjoyable for you to walk down memory lane and reflect on what was going on at the time and how the garden got to where where it is now. Sort of like a combo of your garden tours + weekly recap videos. Might be fun!

Yay! A tour. Everything looks so nice, even in winter. I’m excited to see all of your tulips bloom. As for the gazebo. . . there is more upkeep with painted wood than stained wood that is exposed to the elements. There are so many beautiful shades of stain on the market. I’m impatiently waiting for workable soil and warmer weather here in Upstate New York even though its been in the 40s the last couple of days. No tulips have poked their heads through the soil yet, but some of my hyacinth have. Spring’s a comin’!

Drive some chunkier sticks in ground in front of chicken coop and strech some cucumber nets or something similar on sticks and plant some Thunbergia or something similar quick growing anuals, that we did for two seasons until grape wines and two apricot trees didn grow to make shade, then we removed sticks and net. Don`t know do you like a look of that, but wines planted near coop and let climb on coop is good source of shade.

I moved from zone 9 to zone 8 and the difference is amazing. I used to have petunias that would not only winter over but a few types would bloom all winter! I had things like bougainvillea that I can no longer have. Since I have traded them for things like dogwood, which I have wanted but not more then my bougainvillea. :( I am going to have to do more of the inside pot gardening to make up for the lack of heat.
