Laura, Aaron, and crew, thank you so much for the inspiration you bring to so many people. I "found" you last year when the school I work at closed down because of Covid. You brought so much inspiration and motivation back to me that it got me through a REALLY rough time in my life. Last year my husband and I "took back" a flowerbed on the west side of our house that was completely lost to grass and weeds as tall as I am. This year, all but one flowerbed on our property looks amazing because of the inspiration and guidance you've given us. We planted a tree in memory of my sister (only 53 years old!) who we lost in November and a clematis in memory of my mother-in-law who we lost in March. In a few weeks we will be taking back the last flowerbed on our property that has been lost to weeds. I am so looking forward to having them all done and looking so nice. We get compliments from our neighbors all the time and it brings me such joy. Thank you for all you do and letting us watch and gain knowledge. I truly appreciate you.

OHHHHH THE LUPINES.....Mouth dropping. Hmmm.... What can I pull outta my yard to add one? LOL. Laura, when you told us a while back to "out" the plants that don't make us happy, you freed me in my garden to really rate each of my plants. I have been able to remove some plants that don't thrill me anymore without a backwards glance. I don't miss them at all, and this year I've got empty spaces to fill with new and exciting perennials. Today's video was so wonderful - detailing how you debate empty space, how you plan, and shift your new and old plants is so inspiring. I loved that you moved the heaucheras to their new place with the hydrangeas (it was a surprising "Ah-ha!" moment to me), and how you added in some showy hostas near to your kitchen (you taught me that considering views DO help the decision process for plantings, not just empty space!). I especially loved that you beat back the aggressive anemone lovelies, and yet reposition the darling pink dicentra up into the front for special viewing space. Thank you for letting us into your creative mind and heart. You're the best.
