Monty Don is one of my gardening heroes in no small part due to his organic principles. From an avid gardener in California USA thanks Monty!

Julian Davies Julian Davies Country Living (UK) 3 gardening mistakes we need to stop this year - and why 3.2.22 1052am and if you wanna incur the ire of the fusty old cove even more - randomly plant daffs or crocus or any other floral tribune in yer gardens... as they, the retentive, have a tendency to feel nature is some uniform event, which they seem to feel should be curtailed and regimented.. i am sure their cardio is augmented with them wandering or stomping about the place casting a rueful and disruptive eye over such affronts to humanity as can be evinced here in exhibit A - the green of mr x... hopefully miss y follows suit...

I'm so glad we all have access to these episodes, I wait so much just to sit down and hear that beautiful, so familiar theme tune, and then I can dream that for this hour at least, everything is right with the world. Very best wishes from central England. When it comes back next year, when the theme tune comes on, I shall raise a cup of tea to you, and to all that feel the same.
