I'm enjoying this new set of videos, they are really helpful and timely. I'd be interested in your thoughts on different types of synthetic sources of nitrogen fertiliser

There are different brands - but only 3 sources: nitrate, ammonium and urea. Urea quickly converts to ammonium, so only 2 types really. More plants use nitrate. But in the soil nitrate and ammonium are converted back and forth, so I am not sure it matters that much. kzbin.info/www/bejne/omatqIehocqYeqc

I have watch several of your videos and was wondering what are your thoughts on crop rotation in raised beds? The only reason I went with them is so I don't have to bend over as far and I have really bad butter cup problem so I put down a couple layers of cardboard and filled with garden mix and put more cardboard around the beds with 3 or 4 inches of arbor chips I don't have a lot of room to crop rotate and some say I need to Charles Dowding says it isn't necessary. he also compost vegetable plants with blite and powdery mildew and doesn't have any issues what are your thoughts.

A crop rotation video is in the works - probably out in a week. Crop rotation in a normal sized back yard is almost useless. There are some very specific cases where it can work but very few.
