Always look forward to anything you have to show. I’ve found that mixing ‘dust like’ seeds with sand and putting them in a shaker bottle helps with the evenness of sowing.

Thank you for all the beauty you bring to our lives! Simply amazing and pure delight! Here in western WA state US we have both the purple and white foxgloves, mostly purple ones, growing wild everywhere. They're lovely! 👵🌸🌿🍃

I use a salt-shaker for foxglove seeds and have found it ideal for the job

Loving sowing seeds this year. Can you grow the poppies in a tray? How soon should the seedlings come up?

is the white version of certain plants some kind of albino strain? what i mean is, there seems to be a lot of variety of colour with various plants, but the more i look plants up, almost invariably there seems to be an 'alba' 'album' 'albicans' version of it? is there something unique about the colour white? does pretty much every flower have a white variant, and why would that be so.? is it a common mutation or default? and is it true that the white versions (of a plant) is almost always the most fragrant?

So, if I buy a foxglove at the nursery and plant it, when it seeds itself, it will not bloom until the second year?
@pansepot14904 жыл бұрын
If you buy a plant in flower this year the seed will scatter and by autumn you should have established little plants that will flower next year. Once you start the cycle you have flowers every year. Besides, after the first flowering most plants produce lateral buds which will flower the following year. Foxgloves often behave as short lived perennials.
