Love your channel. I discovered you from Kramer channel too some time ago. You might remind Nate (and Modern Yoeman) to mention your channel every time you guys help out there - not just the first time :). I had to browse through all my subscriber channels to find you again. Beautiful garden. I’m so jealous of your greenhouse. I’m in Grandview, TN and we garden outside and the rabbit, deer, etc damage is incredible (despite robust fencing). Interested to see what you do with the yarrow and mullen after you dry it! Show me how to use that stuff - I have too much! :)

I have lessons learned on every garden season. 😂 I always forget to thin out carrots. 🥕🥕 I always wear gloves… I don’t want to touch any surprises!! 😮 It’s so great that Jim is helping Nate. I’m also enjoying seeing the joy on their faces. ❤ Kathy where did you purchase those vented containers you’re storing your garlic in?? I checked on Amazon and nothing like that comes up. Believe it or not, they came from Dollar Tree! They are not the best quality, but they're handy. I use them a lot in the freezers!

Hello 👋 from Jackson Tennessee, I think those hooks and string are called tomahooks and I first saw them in The Hollar Homestead high tunnel about two years ago. They just changed to a system from Farmers Friend who they got their high tunnel from. I was also wondering if you ship hatching eggs from the breese chickens. I don’t know anyone near me that raises them and I don’t trust hatcheries. Thanks 🙏 for all you do to help others, you are immensely appreciated 👍🙌💪🙏🌈✌️🐽🐷🐖

Thanks so much! I think you're right - they are called tomahooks! I believe I first saw Mike, from the Fit Farmer, use them a few years ago. They're great to use in the high tunnel! I have not started selling my hatching eggs yet. I am only in my first season of breeding and not quite comfortable with the genetics, just yet. I did give some eggs away this year with the caveat that I can't guarantee what will hatch! Send me an email and we'll chat more about it! twoturtles @ gmail

LOL - did I say I was canning garlic?? Now I'm researching how to can garlic! I usually just store it in the fridge, but I do want to ferment some this year. I'll definitely let you know!
