In recent years, I have been reducing my steps. I've been struggling with my feet. I focus more on the maintenance rather than the all-day mowing/hedgetrimming. I like to mix the tasks up as I go through the day to spread out the wear and tear. It's a harder job than most would understand unless they came out on the tools one day.

Carl I think if anyone was to really understand the endurance needed they would have to work for a few weeks straight in all the different properties with weather elements also. We have alot to absorb and contend with. Great to hear from you👊

Challenging gardens up in Montenotte area Damien. Very affluent area too though so maybe not a bad place to work. 🤔😉 We could have done without seeing the shovel of poop 😂😂 Have a great week ahead. Weather is supposed to improve 🙏

Jackie Red Robin (Photinia) are a beautiful shrub just keep prunning it so it will be kept under control. As gardeners we face alot of obstacles ie. steps , small walls, hilly drives awkward parking on our rounds. Apologies about shovel of poop did not realise you would be eating😆. Rain looking to hold off this week. Mind yourself👊 Damien

Hi Damien been a busy day just catching up on videos Lovely work on the red robin and how nice was that Rhodendron I really love your van set up so organised and makes life easier Do you ever get people ask you to move the van on them tight roads Great video mate

Pete great to hear from you fella van set up has been a game changer this season especially now that I fully work solo. I usually park very tactically away from gates entrances and make sure there is room for cars to pass. Nothing worse than being stuck into a job and having to stop. Hope you are keeping well mate

@@mr.tidygarden agree mate sounds like you’ve got it all under control I’m on my own Mondays then Tuesday and Thursday I have big Al My dads helping me Wednesdays Leon’s gone now his heart not into gardening and he started to lose interest and clients noticed and complained about him being on his phone and more than he was working It’s a shame because my clients don’t mind me filming so he must have been really taking the piss when out of sight of me Otherwise I’m all good so much work so just have to keep plodding on mate

@@THETATTOOGARDENER83 Pete with the work you do your better off just taking help when you need it rather than having someone with you everyday. You can then pick and choose your work rather than pushing on trying to keep your helper going. You can finish earlier or work later somedays so you can take a day off its far more flexible. Good help is very rare especually with the youth. Keep Big Al with you and pace him out over the summer he reminds me of my dad working with me✌️ Have a productive week. Damien

Very true. I used to work as a gardener (passed a landscape designer exam in France) but despite the passion I have for gardening had to change work 😢 petrol tools are too heavy for a woman
