Awesome! Was this intended as an April Fools joke? Maybe Sebastian would consider doing an apocalypse grow challenge? Make it a series?

Eating good quality vegetarian organic foods probably helps to keep everyone healthy & fit to more easily handle apocalyptic attacks. Create biogas from manure or rotting plants. Create ethanol from corn or sugar cane. Use the ethanol or biogas to create flame throwers. Thank you for sharing helpful videos!

Plants VS. Zombies is one of my favorite games! You can toss corn, tomatoes, and lettuce heads to slow them down. Ha ha! Love your humor Vera!

I certainly think a patch of stinging nettles would be very useful, might deter the zombies( sensitive little things) and you can cook them , brew them , dry them for tea and use the fibres too. Just as well I have a few in the garden...

Presented in a very imaginative, original way. Absolutely love it. Something I can watch with my 18 year old son, where we can both learn something! Well done.

Too cute! AND well thought out. You also need to plant perennial plants and herbs along the paths you take to get to resources throughout the year! Water, fruit that ripens at certain times, paths taken by small prey animals. Protein and fats will be hard to come by! ;) Good video.

I feel a lot more confident with this info when the Zombie apocalypse comes. Your food can feed you and protect you 🤣🤣😂😂. Don’t forget you can dig a big hole in the garden, cover it with sticks and yard debris and trap the zombies. It will buy you some time to escape 😉

I think, I'll be reinforcing my fence with very thorny blackberries => must be good to keep zombies out, but the very long, sturdy vines could be used to tie zombies up with, should they make it into the yard. And they are perennial. And berries. Yummie. :D

That was a curve ball video. That said, winter squash, so you plant it in the autumn and grow it through the winter, or is it grown in the summer and harvested in the winter? 🤔
@GrownToCook3 жыл бұрын
Winter squash is grown during the summer, harvested in fall and stored for the winter, as opposed to summer squash such as courgette which cannot be stored. Sorry for the confusion!
@mydanishgarden31123 жыл бұрын
Thank you both, the term winner squash has confused me for a while, I've looked for squash seeds that give a growing time during the winter and never found them. Now I know the answer.
