ELDEN RING: Malenia VS All DLC Bosses

There was a lot of confusion regarding the scaling of Malenia, this is her original scaling. HOWEVER, there is a technical detail that should've been mentioned in the video; which is that she was given the same advantage as the spirit summon ashes if fully upgraded with the new Scadutree Blessing mechanic, which gives is around 30% extra damage negation, and triple the attack power. This was done because the DLC bosses are designed in a manner where their stats are very high in that regard, and to have the summoned enemies have their "original power", they scaled it off in such a way, and we followed it in the video. We will be taking that aspect more closely in detail in the next videos and figuring out the exact way the mechanic works; in order to balance the fights in a better manner, however for the time being, enjoy the content!

Under the premise that the DLC bosses are stronger just because they are under the DLC setting, it is adaptation. You couldn't put Malenia to fight under her normal stats, because the only thing that makes the others so strong is just the fact that they are from the DLC, and the DLC has a difficulty setting only to make it challenging; that is, they are not that strong on their own. People expecting him to return and complain about the lore are being hypocritical because they want to jump through mental hoops to get what they want. I am personally underwhelmed because there wasn't much build up to this reveal (except Malenia whispering something to Radhan). Also the fact that this DLC doesn't happen after we complete the main story also locks out that option from practical perspective and we know that because after burning the erdtree some quests get locked (also Miquella calls us aspiring lord)

I’m fairly certain a prime Radahn fight would’ve been much more welcome if it hadn’t been where it was.

for all those who complain that malenia deals too much damage you should think about the fact that against the base game she is completely a walk in the park even against endgame bosses like radagon So it is more than reasonable that she is simply leveled up because despite having a amount of life points similar to that of the DLC bosses deals much less damage because it is designed to work without the tree fragments. ok, maybe the 300% Attack rating is a bit much but even with 200% it would be reasonable to have a good perspective otherwise what would be the point of the most powerful of the demigods hitting for like 500 damage per hit?

@@Detriax Yeah because DLC bosses are scaled differently to base bosses and DLC bosses are meant to be harder. BjornTheBear did this and just made the base bosses NG+7 which makes it fair even still the DLC bosses are scaled as they are and can still kickass, Maliketh, Godfrey, Malenia and Mogh are the only bases bosses that stand a chance at NG+7.
