Hi. I'd suggest adding some prey fish/shrimp snails etc. To the tank so it can hunt on it's own alongside being fed manually. Also, do you plan on getting it a mate to try to bring the species back to a sustainable number?

Dude this is SICK!!!! LOVE the rocks you did behind the tank. Ties it all together so well, and Casey is as per usual a wizard in decor with those fake plants.

Hi, Chris! I'm from the Philippines, and you've really inspired me to adopt an Asia Minor Tortoise. You really helped me learn how to provide the best care I can for my tortoise. I've even picked up gardening as a hobby, and started cataloguing native plants that are safe to feed. The philippine (and SE Asia) tortoise/turtle scene really needs the info you put out, as there are a lot of "experts" giving out outdated advice (24-hour heat, reptile mats, glass tanks, sulcatas for first-time owners). Again, I'm really really grateful and I really admire the work you and your family does. 🐢💚

I first got into KZbin when I happened upon a video of Tanner Serpa-I was blown away by his inventive and meticulous enclosures, not to mention his generosity sharing how he does his builds. Tanner’s aquaria videos piqued my curiosity, and although I do follow a few reptile keepers (Snake Discovery, Adam Wickens, and of course, our recently departed South African friend, Dingo Dinkelman) now my special love is reserved for turtles and tortoises. I feel so very blessed by the innumerable online resources: Clint’s Reptiles, Kamp Kenan, Charlie Moorcroft, and last, but certainly not least, Garden State Tortoise. Like the other conservationists I mentioned, Chris and Casey put 100% of their time and energy into caring for their precious charges, all the while creating interesting, informative, and educational videos for their amazing channel and followers. I hope one day to share my home with a turtle or tort who might find Houston an appropriate habitat. Hey, Chris, would you consider doing a timeshare with Otis? Didn’t think so.😪😿🥰

This doesn’t have anything with the turtle that you’re displaying today, but I thought it would be interesting.
