Better to make private sector do all the lighter satellite launching, while ISRO exclusively concentrates on heavy/super-heavy launches and research satellite/cutting-edge technology stuff which would be out of hands from private sector. ISRO can use private sector for outsourcing of many of its non-secretive/easyish jobs. This way, money can be saved/better utilized.

Let ISRO take their time. They don't deserve unnecessary pressure. It's ok if they can't make it to 2022 Independence Day target. The success of the mission itself carries so much huge milestone for India that we don't need it to be ready for 75th Independence day. I prefer safer success in first attempt over unnecessary pressure. All the best ISRO for Mission Gaganyaan. Jai Bharat. Vande Mataram.

Because it's 'compromise vehicle' built to accommodate the cryogenic upper stage engines bought from the Russia . It's fundamentally flawed.
@tirthachakrabarti5912
@tirthachakrabarti5912 2 жыл бұрын
Here's a reason. CE-7.5 is based on Russian KVD-1 which uses staged combustion cycle. It's an efficient but complex cycle so more risky. Vikas and CE-20 of PSLV and GSLV Mk3 use Gas generator cycle which somewhat less efficient but simpler and more reliable. PSLV is solid+hypergolic as well. Cryogenic is much more complex. That said, CE-7.5 powered Mk2 flew 8 times. 6 of them are consecutive successes.
@tirthachakrabarti5912
@tirthachakrabarti5912 2 жыл бұрын
@@kunjukunjunil1481 That's a vague reason. Mk2 never failed due to overall vehicle design. Once failed due to turbopump failure, second time due to fuel tank pressure drop. Both problems are in the cryo stage.

@@tirthachakrabarti5912 😄 Yes it's "vague " (Ask any ISRO scientists personally) .See you forgot to mention the other four failures ,which are so diverse in their failure modes (and the inefficient 'Solid core +liquid Strap-on booster 'configuration) In reality it was a rocket built around the Cryogenic stage ,not like the Later MK3 version which is a proper developed vehicle.

spaceX with no huge government funding did manned mission, developed reusable rockets, developed rockets more powerful than ISRO's and deployed more number of total satellites into space than ISRO in a very small time span. Wonderful video, very well made. Delays are disappointing but we have to trust ISRO that they are doing best they see possible. Human missions are very crucial, no one wants to see a failure. No public or government pressure should interfere in this. I feel the covid lockdowns really messed up ISROs planning. And maybe they have rethink some things after Chandrayaan 2. Also we should not forget the indigenous aspect of this whole thing. Still i hope ISRO improve their PR and communicate regularly with public. A simple video like this is far more important then some press release.

Sir problem test ki nahin, problems time ki hai. ISRO chahe to sare tests 2022 me kar skta hai, hai aur phir 2023 me human rated launch kare, par Budget ki dikkat hai. ISRO ko agar apna budget chahiye to thoda clean and clear approach Lani padegi. Hamare politics me space ko Lana padega, aur public support ke bina ye budget nahin badhega We must request to ISRO to communicate with public and get ideas, just the way SpaceX's Elon Musk interacts. This creates interest in public and in return support increases. ISRO should use modern lightweight and eye-catching designs in rocket because the although these old-fashioned designs are successful, but this doesn't interest our youth. Moreover, more and more young people should be included in ISRO because they have new vision for the future and can think in multiple ways. Hope this becomes true.🙂

I have 1 question which remains unanswered in this video. Who will the ones to be part of the first manned crew? I sincerely hope they are our scientists who work day and night to make such missions possible. This will send a positive message all across the world as well that Indians give chances to people who deserve it.

Would ISRO be considering sending of human shaped mannequins, fitted with sensors to get a better idea about their systems in their uncrewed missions?

Most data is anyways gathered through sensors but in the 2nd mission there will be a robot called vyommitra .

Then it means we will only be able to launch our space Station by 2035+-2. By the way, I want to ask whether ISRO standard time applies to only ISRO or other Space Agencies too?
@yangshujian
@yangshujian 2 жыл бұрын
Most of the space agencies in the world. Maybe China can be considered as an exception since they usually just don't announce any specific dates until very close to launch. There will be no delay is no precise timing is being expected. For example, their current announced plan is to land Chinese on the Moon "around 2030". No exact year is set as the target.
