If twin-cylinder bikes were banned from the 125cc class at the end of 1987, how were Garelli able to still compete up to the end of the 1990 season?

true...and the bike was not bad at all...it made its debut with a 4th in Jarama 1988, promising, I think. The problem was that both Gresini and Garelli were used to winning always, and that year, Derbi took a step ahead...and Aspar, as well.
