The Wales flag was also a stupid stunt. However, yes the Spanish media is total trash and the Madrid fans were very unfair to him. He gave them some of the greatest moments in their clubs history and for this he deserves respect. He scored more goals than R9 and also won more champion leagues that Zidane so he's done enough to at least be respected.
