Exactly, had Southgate gone home at half time no one would have noticed. I've never seen a worse manager with no idea of what to do. He is under pressure , and he has gone to pieces. Blaming us and the media is just deflecting , no one is really blaming the players as such , its Southgate , he has literally took the life out of the players. Instead of doing something radical and playing players in a position they can play in,,he prefers to remain stubborn. Foden and Trippier are like a security blanket for him now on the left. There are a couple of common sense changes to try , but no he goes with just one change. It's a bit like watching Biden try a rousing speech.
