@@adamondrasko1765 For the crits, yes the total is 36. After afterwards, it’s a ‘normal’ hit and that would also be 1D10 +10 (Blunt) + 2D8 (Radiant). But he then only added the dice, without adding the constant +10 from Bodger’s strength. Interestingly, he did the same for Bob’s automatic crit, sonI’m not sure now whether it is an actual part of his home brewed rules.

I only had to learn the differences by knowing there are. Like throwing a healing potion does nothing, you obviously have to eat the whole thing.

I reckon the problem is that people will be less likely to read the rules because they assume that they know them. And they might ask to play by the BG3 rules just because they are used to them or they struggled with the rules and don't want to relearn everything. For a lot of people learning the differences will be more difficult than learning from scratch (especially with minor rules, when everything looks the same but actually it's not)

My rogue assassin really really wants Greg's blade! Sadly, the DM's of my DnD group decided to use "Sane magic item pricing" guide. So instead of it being about 500g, it cost 60k. I hope this post doesn't get Greg mugged and murdered. Also, I soo saw that 63 damage coming. If there was ever a time to use the hero point, its for a rogue with sneak attack to autocrit a mini boss! Talk about some delicious payback for Bob!!! When the fight started I was really hoping to see Gareth own. I made a cavalier fighter when Xanithars first came out. It is such an overpowered class. With the war horse it gets two attacks on your turn in addition to your multi attack with fighter. If you make a charge attack of 30 feet and the horse's attack hits you knock the enemy prone. With the horsemanship feat you get advantage on creatures smaller than your mount. A war horse is considered large. On top of a warhorses 60 speed and the lance having a 10 foot reach. Since a horse is large with the ten foot reach while sitting on horse back you have a threat space 30 feet wide that you can very quickly move anywhere on the battlefield.

I haven't seen the full episode yet, but I just wanted to ask, when this campaign is going to end, can we have another one where everyone plays with their backup-characters? Because the players have mentioned it from time to time that they would like to play as them, and I love this DND stuff in the NPC universe so much that the thought of it ending makes me sad already. It's such a genius story and every single one of you makes it so fun to watch, and for me it has accompanied me for quite some time in my life now. He's already attuned to 3 magical items (the limit), one of which is a ring of protection +2 He gains nothing from getting it. I suppose he could give it to a party member but they also have other attunements already as well.

Magical guidance is for ability checks that you make not saving throws that someone else makes. This is the rope of many things all over again...

Adam does this a lot. But it is fun seeing creative usage. Still he cheats a lot Having watched all of these over the last couple months there are numerous times where he says, no wild surge it will be on 3 now. Then rolls a three next time and says no wild surge, it was 2 but will be 3 now. 😂 But in the end it didn't even matter in this episode because Bob failed the save again and had to use the hero point.
