This game is actually pretty mediocre. It has a pretty bad framerate and it also has some really awkward controls. It's also a platformer where you have to collect all the collectables (eggs, coffee, etc... what's on the HUD is what you need to collect), which I find pretty frustrating. I still think Garfield: Caught in the Act is the best Garfield game, where Garfield being active is somewhat justified since he was trapped inside a TV for no reason, but still... none of them really feel like Garfield games. I can't think of any concrete way that a Garfield game could capture the charm of the comics. One idea would be a physics-puzzle game where you would need to bring lasagne to Garfield while he's sitting on the couch watching TV only using the force of gravity (perhaps using an accelerometer,) but if you were to replace the characters, it's probably true that nobody would suspect it was originally a Garfield game. Another would be a platformer-puzzle (yes, a lot of puzzle, but meh) game where you have to progress through levels without doing much physical exercise by kicking Odie to interact with the level, and even though this feels like it might be distinctively Garfield, I couldn't think of any way to not make that seem frustrating...

​@@leoleonvids Well, at least it's better than most of the other Garfield videogame adaptations, especially Garfield Search for Pooky and Garfield Gets Real: The Game. Personally, I'd say this, Garfield's Fun Fest: The Game, Garfield's Nightmare, and Garfield Caught in the Act are the best ones.

Very disappointed that this wasn't based on the avant-garde 9 part Garfield collection of the same name, where Jim Davis made each section's illustration style and tone vastly different from the usual Garfield strip you see today.
