can confirm they are. A friend of mine has a Gargos deck with some totem armors and it is strong being spotremoval and protection 2 in 1

you should put in the only green boardwipe the great aurora, it's a more chaos then boardwipe but it can really change the situation of the board, also it's cheap $0.71

There are others, wave of vitriol is pretty nasty, and ezuris predation is kinda fun. Wave of vitriol with an aven mindcensor is nasty, you only search the top 4 a single time.

@@CommanderReplay I haven't heard of those so thanks for the info, the great aurora is great for mono green since it has a lot land ramp so I was able to double all my mana then used the aurora so that I can have some plays afterwards

Question. Since Dryad of the Ilysian Grove turns all of your lands into every basic land type, does that combo with Cabal Stronghold like Coffer combos with Urborg?

Cabal Stronghold Needs the land to have two things before it counts before it twords the mana total generated. 1. The Basic Supertype 2. The Swamp Subtype Dryad of the Ilysian only gives it the subtype of all basic lands: not the supertype of Basic. So as long as the land that is given all land subtypes is basic before hand it will count twords Cabal Stronghold. Example Dryad of the Ilysian enters the battlefield turning your Basic Forest into a Basic Mountain, Swamp, Island, Forest, and Plains. It will not add the supertype of basic to any non-basic lands. Prismatic Omen would be in the same boat as Dryad of the Ilysian with Cabal Stronghold. It only matters as long as the land is a Basic, and a Swamp. Personally I am more preferenced to Prismatic Omen than Dryad of the Ilysian because its harder to get rid of. I hope this answers your question.

A little, beef up your early ramp. Llanowar tribe, somberwald sage and friends shoudl be really good. YOu want gargos in play quick. Other than that, its just hydras and good times.

Tell you what I took resurgent out put in nyxbloom ancient and the deck is much faster. I put it out with selvala and cast my hydras as 40/40s

Lol, yeah thats just silly. I cant imagine that world where I cut zendikar resurgent, unless im trying to power down but yeah Nyxbloom seems silly in this deck. Ive got a couple tweaks i want to make. I think just more LLanowar Tribe, Somberwald Sage, Mana Vault type stuff to get gargos in a little quicker is needed.

Selvala has to be my favorite card for this deck that isnt a hydra. I'm having issues fitting in more removal.

Khalni Hydra and Kindred Summons are reaaaalllyy bad in Gargos. Buff spells or fight spells are all the removal you need. Also Guardian Project and Sylvan Library are pretty much staples

Guardian project isn't _that_ good with expensive fatties --Garruk's uprising is way better here (wasn't released back when you posted?). Sylvan library on the other hand is pretty expensive. You're right about Khalni Hydra and Kindred summons, though. I'd add Harmonize, Disk (only draws all attacks in in a hostage situation and is too slow for a quick clear) and Inspiring call(considering there are like only six cards dealing in counters, here.) there, too.
