దైవాసురసంపద్విభాగ యోగము శ్లో।। 23: య శ్శ్యాస్త్ర విధి ముత్సృజ్య వర్తతే కామకారతః। న స సిద్ధి మవాప్నోతి న సుఖం న పరాం గతిమ్ ।। (జీవాత్మ) భావము:- శాస్త్రవిధులను విడచి ఆశ కొరకే సంచరించువాడు ఏమి సాధించలేదు . వాడు సుఖమును పొందలేడు, మోక్షమును పొందలేడు. వివరము:- జీవితమునకొక విధానముంటుందని, జీవితమును శాసనబద్ధముగ పెద్దలు చెప్పినట్లు గడుపవలెనని తెలియక, వారి ఇష్టమొచ్చినట్లు సంచరించుచు, ఆశ అను పెద్ద గుణముచే ధనార్జనే జీవిత ధ్యేయముగ పెట్టుకొని , శాస్త్రవిధులైన నీతి న్యాయము, జ్ఞాన ధర్మములను గాలికి వదలి, ధన సముపార్జనకు ఎట్లయిన మాట్లాడి ఎట్లయిన చేయువాడు దైవపరముగ ఏమి సాధించలేడు. ఎంత సాధించిన వానికి సుఖముండదు, మోక్షము ఎప్పటికి పొందలేడు.
