I’m glad it was more useful. I wish I could talk more about the conceptual reasons for the design but I probably never can because the integrity of the work requires that I don’t sit around explaining everything. :D

apologies if this has been answered elsewhere, but are there any plans to eventually release the game for Mac?

Initial launch will be Windows only, and a Switch port is in the works for later. Other platforms are aspirational, but I'd like to put the game wherever I can afford to and makes sense. Mac probably makes sense at some point, but will require me to buy the requisite hardware so I can do in-house testing and make sure the port is up to my standards.
