Super Mario World - 100% Walkthrough, Part 26: Forest Secret Area & Forest Fortress

The first one is short, fun and simple. The fortress isn't too bad either. Not much else to say about these levels.

okay this really strange what's happening in my game? the worlds are now like pink, mint green, chocolate colours and the turtles look like orange faced mario brother wannabes; what's going on here?

I assume you beat the special zones and got the "new world." After getting to the special zones and beating them all, then going to the star at the end, you activate the New World that changes everything the way you've described.

@@Hei_DarkfireYes when I finished all of those special zones this is what happened. I panicked thinking it may have been a glitch or flaw. So is this a good thing or bad thing? And can I turn it off?

@@ijustgottahotdog It's just what happens when you finish the special zones. It's just an extra in the game. It's not a glitch. And no, you can't turn it off once you get it. The only way to go back to normal is to start a new file. Don't worry though, it's only the physical appearances that change. Everything still works the same as it did before.
