I missed you, so happy you are back. I am heading to Bali next week for a month, and was trying to remember some of your suggestions on hotels. Just bought my airfares yesterday so crazy busy finding accommodation. Just need one last place to book for 5 days, but will look at your your tubes again for ideas.

funny thing we walk down garlic lane every night, between 930pm and 11pm, i pop into that mini mart every night and buy a apricot turnover pastry or similar and a large bintang. but have never been charged the same price', or its a different price every night. we go back to bali in 7 weeks time, and on the first day i am going to take note of the real price

Good plan. I was witnessed and chatted to a European bloke in a dispute with that mini mart over the dodgy ATM. Good place to avoid. All mini marts will skim one way or another. Sad but true. W

Hi Christopher. Funny you should ask. This weekend I will upload a Vlog called 'a hard days night' which will give you a really good look around (and in) the Kuta nightclub strip. The local beer caller 'Bintang' is revered by many a serious beer drinker. You can also get a good selection of other beers from the supermarkets, check my 'Bintang Star' vlog and in different restaurants and bars you will get some other choices.I think you will be happy bud. It's all a blast. For upmarket clubbing get a taxi to Seminyak around midnight and go nuts. Enjoy mate. Waz
