I made this twice last week, after the first attempt i made a few tweaks/additions- added old Bay seasoning with the shrimp while they cooked, used half a lemon and just half of its zest., baked unti it was bubbly and brown.. oh my lord! the first try wasn't terrible either but the lemon over took the dish! but if you like lemon don't let me stop you.. but the old Bay was a nice addition and of course goes well with shrimp! I made this for a party it was gone in minutes big hit!

and don't get hung up on the mayo.. if you don't like it don't use it... substitute for Greek yogurt or sour cream, but to be honest with all the flavour you can't really tell there is mayo in it.

Yesterday I made this one for new year celebration! And it was awful! So bitter!! Nobody wanted to eat it!!! You actually can't eat it! I don't think lemon zest was a good idea, because I think exactly the zest gives this bitter no good taste! I had to throw it away in the garbage! Even though I added half of the zest and lemon juice from the recipe. And you know what, I am a very good cook, so I just couldn't mess up your recipe! It just the recipe is not ideal! I would want to make it again but next time without lemon zest and juice, maybe it would be better, but this recipe isn't definitely the best of yours!
