Garmin D2 Air X10 watch for pilots

Great review. I got one of them but I couldn't see and access all those 50 Contacts with Phone Numbers on this X10 Watch itself which were set/added up in Garmin Connect app on my phone so I couldn't tap dial/call any of those contact directly on the X10 watch. Any solution?

Has anyone tried to pair this directly to a Garmin portable device such as an aera 760? I really don’t want to switch to Garmin Pilot, which is what Garmin claims but I’ve heard conflicts about that claim

Does the navigation function require the garmin pilot app? Are there any perpetual fees?

Nice watch! Is the D2 Air X10 capable of displaying events from the **Google** Calendar? Right now I have use Google Calendar across my devices (phone, tablet, etc) and if the D2 Air X10 can display events from Google Calendar, it will be perfect match.

For iOS devices, which are the only ones I can address from experience, Garmin watches will display calendar events that result in alert on your phone. And so, the only question you need to answer is: can you configure your phone to display Google Calendar events? In the case of my iOS devices, the answer is yes.
