I highly recommend the Rand Mcnally TND 750 on Amazon: amzn.to/3CvPDQF It's much easier to add stops and plan your route. It is the primary GPS that I'm currently using. On the home navigation screen you have more info displayed at once like time to destination, miles to destination, and I like that it displays the city and state that you are in at all times on the screen. Very helpful. The Rand also makes it much easier to see what stops are ahead such as truck stops, rest stops, etc... with a click of a button. It gives a clear list while you are driving and its easy to select your choice. There are more features of course, but I hope this helps in your buying decision. I have seen others comment that this Garmin has an issue finding addresses and that they have to find it on their phone and send to the Garmin. Have you found that to be an issue?

Sometimes that happens for me but I not to a point of a big issue. I find that on the McNally too sometimes. But I do like the phone feature as this makes it easier to input address.

My old garmin dezl I had over 8yrs has the feature for no toll with tolls on route the 710 don't I need that feature I with in and found tolls there is no feature to ask either no or yes help

So far I have not seen that as an option. But maybe look into installing custom maps. Hope this helps!

I have the 5” Dezl Garmin and I do not get the Coffee cup icon thing. I really need it to. So annoying I cant get it

Yeah. The coffee cup icon can be tricky. I simply use the what’s up ahead feature to kinda know where I’d like to stop for a break.

How do I save addresses?

It’s tricky but look for the information symbol “i” when you pull up the address and click on it. Then you will be able to save it. Hope this helps

@@survivorneerstrucktalk I’m trying to program addresses that I haven’t been to yet with this device, but I deliver to occasionally. Rather than “save after” try to program them in now. If that makes any sense. I’m a trucker, so there is always a level of difficulty.

I see what you mean. I noticed this myself. What I’ve learned is that it seems you have to always first input address like your gonna navigate and then save it. Hopefully Garmin will improve the user friendly part of it.

Big mistake on your part, you did not give unit unique part number if with or without camera!!! I bought a OTR710 like in your tutorial. BUT NO CAMERA, I'm proud and hurt! Disaster!
