Aqui no Brasil usamos o smartphone em cidades grande. Quando a viagem é longa tem lugares que não tem sinal pra o celular. Por isso consideramos o Garmin ideal pra viagens longas e em lugares desertos com falta de sinal de internet.

6:22 what is a 'red light camera' that you activate/deactivate? I'm guessing it's some kind of speed cam and traffic light alert function but it's definitely not a term I've ever heard used before here in the UK.

3:01 I currently use my iPhone 13 has gps there is an app called Magic Earth that used to be a dashcam integrated but I can’t find where the app saves the videos 🤷‍♂️ Anyway I use it with Apple Maps and it works great I put it pretty low on the wind screen because like you I have trouble to see people and cars to my right The more compact it is, the better We are talking about visibility and SECURITY

Mounting it where you have, there are 2 things, 1) You've created a GIANT blind spot, and i t's illegal in most(if not all) states to obscure your vision, 2) it's NOT in your line of sight, meaning that you have to take your eyes off the road to witness it... The best place I've found is the driver side, near the A pillar and close to the dash, just below your line of sight, just a glance without diverting your vision of the road in front of you will do the trick...
