How to find data sharing on the garmin echomap 50s?

I have a echhomap 50. While on navigation chart, it keeps changing North to South and then South to North while I am running. Very confusing when all of sudden the bank on the right side is suddenly on the left. What am I doing wrong?

i hooked up my garminmap echo 50dv to my minnkota trevvola with built in transducer and NOW my opening screen changed, dont show show sonar whats wrong ? if i go to settings and to alarms it shows sonar but don't go further to show down vu etc

Hi Brian, I have a echomap 53dv. Would you be able to tell me how to configure it to display the water temperature and/or confirm whether or not my transducer is reading water temp? Thanks!

Need help ,what is the 3rd 4 pin socket for on the back of my model for,my old garmin antenna is a single prong, and won't fit, do I need a new 4 pin garmin antenna?

Hello how do you get the device voltage to show up on the screen? I cant figure it out. I Just bought a echomap 50s

Hi, The voltage will show up only when you go int the full screen with sonar. It doesn't show when you select combination. Hope this will help :)

you can't use g2 vision on this device! u need the 527
