One thing where Garmin does win big for me is the navigation side - Turn by turn labelled maps and Up Ahead - which is great for tracking checkpoints or other points of interest. Up Ahead is an absolutely killer feature for me - using Plotaroute to generate routes with custom aypoints for summits, checkpoints, ascents etc. No one else does that sort of thing for navigation yet, and its odd as it only uses GPX waypoints

Enduro 2 is the best watch on the market

I like big watches for my big wrists. The design however is mediocre and they look very similar. If only they had the clean machined look of the apple ultra or Suunto vertical. For that kind of money I would expect a better looking watch, these look like pressed bottle tops in comparison.

Is it me, or is the Coros screen clearer?

It is, because the Enduro 2 has a solar charging layer on its display.

The Garmin multi band stat only makes sense if they are quoting SatIQ rather than always-on multi band.

I’ve noticed that If you look at the Fenix 7x battery specs vs the Enduro 2 then the Enduro 2 is about 30% better approximately EXCEPT for the multiband figure which is much higher I think its a spec error for the Multuband figure Saying that mind, I use my E2 in Gps only and I can get it down to about 1.5% per hour for activities

You can confirm it by using Power Profiles to change through the battery life figures.

Multi-band is a little over-rated, I've tried it a few times and have done the same route with All-Systems and there is virtually no difference. Hard to compare really as satellites many be in a different part of the sky at a different times which I'm sure can affect things as well. If your watch has dual-band, great, if it doesn't I wouldn't worry about it.

@@RovePathsDual band absolutely makes a difference for me around very tall buildings downtown and in dense tree canopy trail conditions. Before I had dual, 20% to 50% of my downtown city runs were a mess on the map. Pre dual, the run line on map cut through city blocks and buildings often. Dual largely solved that me.

@@sachakopa7964 I've used both on Garmin and Coros models and have only seen a few meters difference at best. I don't run in a concrete jungle but do run under tree canopies , ravines and the like. Personally, if the track line is out I really don't care. If it does this: _---/\---__- or this ____-_/\_--- but shows reasonable distance that's fine by me. In my experience with All-Systems and Dual GPS I'd rather have the battery life. How would you know if the Dual GPS was correct? Are you sure? It's only meters in difference, is it that big of a deal?

Garmin over Coros, the navigation on Garmin is leaps ahead which is what this class of watch is meant for.

A small correction :) the Enduro 2 comes with both bands as well. I think that's why it costs 100€ more than the Fenix 7X
