Hi can you pair the se to the app if you have a garmin watch also paired to the app also.

so eTrex SE can be used as a external GPS receiver with... say... a wifi only tablet?

I didn't see mine update through Explore right away. It wasn't until I went to power the unit down that I knew the update was installed.
