Garmin Fenix 7X Solar vs Garmin Tactix Delta Solar.

This is just a quick comparison between the Garmin Fenix 7X Sapphire Solar vs Tactix Delta Solar. Don't get me wrong these are both amazing watches and looks very similar side by side. The screens are the same sizes. In my opinion this was a decent upgrade considering the added in touch screen and torch light. Those two new features definitely are the upgrade justifiable to me.(Lol) Please feel free to comment / LIKE and let me know your opinions on these two time peice fitness marvels. God Bless

I love my tactix delta , there is some useful upgrades on the Fenix 7 it’s a running watch but I think I will skip this generation and stick with my delta as it works well for me, I’m not too bothered about a touchscreen as when I’m out in rough conditions I prefer the use of buttons to navigate etc

@@deriusbrown25 tactic delta is still pretty top spec, I prefer the delta by looks too, it’s only an incremental upgrade imo the new series 7

coming from tactix delta, now fenix 7x. still keep the tactix, love its stylish bezel. the upgrade is minor but worth it. fenix 7 take a bit from forerunner, enduro and tactix, combining it together. touchscreen a nice plus. and that led torchlight, as far as my experience go is more than just a gimmick. and thank god ive finally able to charge almost once a month.

I have the Tactix Delta Solar w/AB, and I love it; but I find myself using my Instinct Tactical Solar more and more for EDC, with my Apple watch on my other wrist, lol. Honestly, I'm considering trading my Delta (whichbis practically mint) for an Epic 2... that should settle the dual-watch wielding issue. I haven't really considered the Fenix 7x (solar) as an upgrade to the Delta, but it really seems to be a dang fine watch that I would've purchased over the Delta.

Definitely get the 7X Sapphire Solar over the Delta Solar cuz of the torch light and touch screen. Plus the battery on the 7X is a tad bit better and also $100 cheaper.

Hi! Is this the black or the carbon grey Fenix? I have had the tactix delta until now (witch is black) and I am now waiting for the carbon grey 7x that I ordered. I am now having second thoughts if shouldn’t have ordered the black one like my old tactix. What’s your thought on this?

I have the Black one. You will be happy with the carbon grey, it looks real similar to the black one from what I've seen in pictures. Honestly I haven't seen the carbon grey in person.

Yes they are both compatible with the same bands 26mm. FYI, Garmin just released the Tactix 7!

They would be about equal. They are both military Grade and both Have sapphire glass. Really just your choice of looks at this point.

There is no need for a screen protector when you have a Sapphire Screen. I've had that Tactix Delta for 10 months and it's been Banged around and still has a flawless screen!

I know you said the screen sizes are the same... But does that include the viewable area? Like does the solar strip on the 7x make the viewable screen slightly smaller?

That's a good question. It's hard to tell if there is any difference but what I do know is that they both have the exact same resolution. 280 x 280.....I hope that helps.

@@thomasusheriii971 got it cool. Can you tell a difference in quality of the screen? Also does the 7x feel bigger than the delta overall or are they about the same size. In this video, the 7x watch looks slightly bigger. It looks wider.

@@mmafighter077The Fenix 7X appears to be a smidgen wider. Such a small amount, not even noticeable. The screens are really similar. I'm testing the screen backlights side by side with both set to 60% brightness and they basically look the same.

I bought it off Amazon. Just type In Fenix 6X titanium bands and many good options will pop up. Keep in mind that the Fenix 7X uses the size bands as the 6X so there are hundreds of nice options
