Nice video. I had emailed you last week when I saw one of your videos on setting up the 67i. I mentioned I had the 66i and you were willing to bet that the setup is the same. Well, it is. So you win. I have been geocaching for many years, but I'm not a fanatic. It is something I love to do when I'm on a trip in my campervan. I have just over 500 finds. I imagine I have around 40 DNFs. One suggestion for your next trip. Check the logs from other people who have either found that cache or attempted to find it. If you see that no one has found it in years, I wouldn't spend time looking. Or, if you see that the last three or four people recorded their effort as a DNF, I wouldn't go looking. It could be there, but probably not. The more you find, the easier it becomes because you "get in the head" of those hiders. Micros are almost always the hardest to find. So small they can be hidden anywhere. I love it and need to do more. Thanks for the informative video. I wish Garmin could streamline their process. It takes too many apps/websites to get everything coordinated. I would think they could do it all from one place. Keep those videos coming.

Thanks for the thumbs up and I agree they could streamline some of this, but it was great to get out and test this and show how it's done for people using the 66i and the 67i. I'm not sure how much geocaching I'll actually due as I'm working hard to create more videos and build the business side of this website, but we'll see. Rick

You should keep the geocaching up, but just make it an added bonus to hiking when you have the time and know that a cache is nearby. That's how I do it.@@outdooremergencytech

The accuracy from a cache also depends on which device the cache-owner has been used when placing its cache 😉
