At this time, the GWX 8000 weather radar is designed for turbine aircraft and is compatible with our Integrated Flight Decks, like the G5000. The GWX 8000 was recently announced on the Cessna Citation Longitude. Garmin does have a legacy of scaling technologies to make them more accessible to everyone over time. ....and now that I have had the upgrade performed, and started to use it, it sure would be nice if there was a User's Manual available...c'mon Garmin, $10K for the upgrade [which is even more expensive in other installations] and no documentation to be had, besides a 60 second marketing video?
