It should work perfectly. But be aware of you’re using a Minn Kota trolling motor the magnetic will be lower usually

Great video. Thanks for sharing. How often do you calibrate? I'm trying to us the same LVS32 setup on my kayak and my boat. Should I recalibrate whenever I move it from kayak to my boat and vice versa?
@The_Garmin_Guru Жыл бұрын
It supposedly only needs calibration when you change orientation modes

Hey bud, I have a 126sv, a 106sv, a 93sv, and a Garmin Force. Also Livescope lvs34. In what order do I need to calibrate? Also, thanks for all your videos. They are a real help.

Good info but my understanding is that if transducer is mounted to trolling motor then you need to use the big motor. Your thoughts?
@The_Garmin_Guru2 жыл бұрын
My testing says you get a better turn radius using the trolling motor and a better overall calibration

I need your advice on something.. I am looking to upgrade my transducer to the Lvs 34.. I currently have the 93SV.. I wanna also upgrade my monitor . I'm looking for something in the 10" range That I can link to my 93SV without having to have the Separate Box that garmin sells. What do you recommend.

I just ordered the 1222 and lvs 34 I'm new to garmin I have a ultrex is it better to mount this on trolling shaft or can I do it on the barrel ? Also how often do you have to calibrate. Thanks
@The_Garmin_Guru2 жыл бұрын
Shaft. The barrel is subject to a lot of abuse. If you don’t switch orientation you don’t have to calibrate as often

Hey man I had a quick question.. I went from forward view to perspective, and then back to forward and it needs to be calibrated. When I try to do so I have it in forward mode (transducer and unit), but when I press begin it says “transducer must be deployed and in the correct orientation.” Any suggestions? Thanks
@The_Garmin_Guru2 жыл бұрын
I’ve seen mine do that before and it will have to be calibrated after switching modes. I just turn my unit off and turn it back on if it says that.

Not the right place for this question, but I'll ask anyway. In down mode jigging for crappie I can't hardly see my line and I might as well forget it when casting I see my lure and weight just fine, I've tried a couple different braids and ofcourse adjusted all the settings nothing really helps, any suggestions to make that line pop?
@The_Garmin_Guru2 жыл бұрын
To see your line you’re gonna have to turn off all filtering settings. I can understand seeing your line in some settings. But just curiously why would you want to see your line if you can see your bait good. Not knocking you just curious
@anthonykent60852 жыл бұрын
I can see my bait really well but it's still easy to lose track of it especially with two people up front fishin . I'm looking for a image something like your short, Jerking crappie out of a brush pile. And I have a hard time locating and tracking my lure while casting to crappie I think if I can see my line it would help

I keep getting failure magnetic interference. Tried like 10 times. It's mounted to my Ultrex trolling motor shaft..what do I do to get successful calibration? Thanks!
@The_Garmin_Guru Жыл бұрын
Two things. Could be a blown fuse in the head which is most likely but also could be too close to the foot

I couldn’t get mine to calibrate. My magnetic was between 13% and 2%. What could I be doing wrong?
@The_Garmin_Guru Жыл бұрын
Could be too close to the foot of the trolling motor or the fuse could be blown in the head of a minn Kota.

Lots of reasons. Sometimes you have to do a unit reset and I don’t know why that is.

I can't even see how you can think that is a better product than the livescaner the foot switch looks like something out of a kids toy and the head is like a battery box from a power wheel I have the livescaner and it is slick and dus just as much as the livefoot and looks better
