If your Garmin having charging problems and USB connection problems. Take it apart. With all circuitry removed I hooked up the charger and tested the leads inside the case. They all had proper voltage reading. Cleaned the circuit boards up reassembled and now works perfectly. I believe the screws to the circuit board loosened which allow the board to lift causing poor connection. Good luck easy fix 👌

Lose the music. Narrate instead. And, the watch has 4 contacts, but you didn't show or tell us which 2 to use.

This is a misleading video and doesn't have practical usage. Firstly, you need to explain that 2.3V is incorrect, which resulted due to duschargex externalal charger. Secondly, it is not practical to hold the connector pins for the whole duration if charging. U could have specified a connector model to fix the wires.

I was able to read 2.3 V using my regular USB charging block. The block will step down the A/C voltage from the wall/power outlet just the same as for any cord. The special Garmin connector is essentially just a hot/neutral wire pair that has the geometry to mate into the back of the watch. I agree it wouldn’t be practical to use this as an everyday charging method, but I was able to charge my battery from 5% to 40% in about 10 minutes, which is faster than if I’d driven to work (where I left my Garmin cable) to get my regular charger. Hope this helps you!

@Steve W What sort of power adapter are u referring to. Standard Usb 3 type chargers are rated for 5V DC output.
